These days, everyone seems to be a tax expert. They watch a few Nomad Capitalist videos and suddenly it’s ‘Hire me, and I’ll help you pay less taxes!’

Thanks for another great video! But I think your worst case scenario for Cyprus is slightly off. You have said 15.15% in a couple of videos, but I don't think this number is correct. If you earn 100k, and you pay 12.5% corporate tax, you're left with 87.500€. And now you pay the 2.65% tax only on this number (not the entire 100k), so the healthcare contribution is 87500 * 0, 0265, which is 2318, 75, so you're left with 85181, 25€. Which makes the combined tax number around 14, 82%.

14:05 why only 4.5% VAT? When I ship something to Germany I have to change German VAT 19% via OSS or not?

Gonna book a call. What do you think of Poland? 5% IP box or 9% corp tax for revenues under 2M. I think all your scenarios are based on the assumption you want to cash out the money from the company and put it in your bank account year by year or month by month. But what about leaving it in the company? In that case also Estonia is attractive

A very interesting video indeed. But of course, you cannot cover everything in a small video. There's a lot of things that are missing in this short video. I think one of the most important things is livability. I know many people are leaving Malta because it's not very livable. And also I checked and if you claim non-dom status in Malta, you cannot get health insurance you have to buy private insurance only. Paint 2.65% on the first 180, 000 is a hell of a good deal for health insurance especially when you will get a European health insurance card. Climate of course is another one. I was born in Canada, I grew up in Montreal then moved to Toronto, and I can tell you I hate the weather. It's nice for 4 months of the year but the rest of it is real crap! And of course you never spoke about language which is another big factor. In Monaco you have to be able to speak French to conduct an interview I'm told. I looked at Switzerland also, and it was going to cost at least $250, 000 Swiss francs a year in lump sum tax. And it's cold. And most of the places that have the good deals on tax is in the German part, I'm trying to learn Swiss German is pretty difficult I think. The regular German is not too difficult. Of course learning Greek is a level four language also very difficult but at least in Cyprus, almost everyone was speak English and you don't need to learn Greek.
