The wood stick was an OPTION ! --There seems to be a lot of 62's so I wonder if that gas gauge helped sales or maybe it just was the time they were catching on ? .... Hey ho, let's go !!

My ‘58 doesn’t have a gauge but I don’t think I have a reserve
I’ll find out more when the rugs get replaced.
I gotta get a transmission because when I bought the car I was told it was a new freeway flyer but of course that was a lie 😢 they painted the case. Such a disappointment

61 is the first year for a gas gauge, your petcock is broken it shouldn’t turn that much. Nice looking 60, love the stance.

I did not catch what year the bug was in later part of the video but 68 or 69 is my guess. Rear window defogger i believe first year was 68. Idk

I'm pretty sure on my 59 the lever would only turn 90° from straight up to horizontal for reserve. If it's flipping over 180° that might not be working right.

Yeah, the only thing that sucks if you already have that thing in reserve and you forgot to switch it back when you filled up when you run out of gas, you're out of gas buddy.
