Creepiest Alfred Hitchcock Hour 'The Jar' Ray Bradbury 1964

Alfred Hitchcock is widely regarded as the undisputed master of cinematic suspense. After conquering film, the director then turned his creative focus to the then relatively new medium of television. In the 1964 episode, The Jar, written by sci-fi legend Ray Bradbury, Hitchcock's TV series gave the world one of the creepiest nightmare stories ever told.

The Jar and The Unlocked Window are my 2 favored episodes of the Alfred Hitchcock Hour. George Lindsey, Slim Pickens and the actor who played Mr. Haney on Green Acres are all in it. Yes, I saw it as a kid and still think about it.
