Brotherhood Vs The Institute, BOS is jealous of their tech so they're gonna rough it out

Evil is a relative term. More specifically they are selfish and a closely knit faction. They just want tech. Trust me I'm a Paladin ;)

Well, the Brotherhood is all about the preservation of technology. Maybe they want the android tech for themselves, rather than in the hands of the Commonwealth. Perhaps you can side with the Commonwealth or the Brotherhood, and there are moral implications of each choice.

having played just Fallout 1 and Fallout new vegas, I never thought of the BoS as the "good guys"...they are a neutral faction that cares mostly about themselves, and to further their technological advances...
If I have ever found a faction that I would call the good guys, that would be the followers of the appocalypse

I think that the BoS is at war with the Institute. It makes sense, given the Brotherhood is all about getting all the tech they can, while the Institute has a lot of advanced kit.

Notice the guy also killed Synths in the trailer? I reckon the Synths will be the android foot soldiers of the Institute. The trailer was showing both the possible paths.

you know that the BoS has different groups led by different elders, right? the brotherhood was started to hoard technology for "the good of humanity" and not to actually help small groups of people. Elder Lyons in Fallout 3 was seen as evil by some members, hence the Outcasts. so maybe the Boston faction of the BoS is more evil than the BoS that we've seen so far. it's definitely possible.

I'm still not convinced that the BoS are antagonists in FO4. I think this trailer is actually gameplay of a "bad karma" character and uses the indiscriminate violence to make the trailer more action-packed. If the nuclear explosion in the trailer is, like Matty thought, a part of a quest similar to destroying Megaton then it may be indicative of an "evil" protagonist rather than an "evil" BoS. Even if the BoS are the antagonists of FO4, "evil" wouldn't be an appropriate description: uncaring or selfish is more accurate. If the BoS in FO4 are the antagonists, then I have a feeling that they won't be affiliated with the BoS of Elder Lyons but with the Outcasts of FO3 (the Western BoS would also fit but given the distance they would have to travel that's less likely than Lyons or Outcasts). But it may be that FO4 is taking cues from FONV: we may be faced with a choice of whether to side with the BoS or their enemies (likely the Institute). A third faction opposed to both BoS and Institute could be the Railroad since both the BoS and Institute would see the androids as machines and fight over control of them while the Railroad wants to liberate the Androids from the oppression of both factions.

I'm assuming you can side with either the Institute/Commonwealth or the BoS. The gameplay footage from the trailer would be from a playthrough where they sided with the Institute. It's like New Vegas

If BOS is the antagonist it may be because as we know BOS love tech, and vaults are full of tech so they may raided vault 111. found the dwellers dead (apart from protagonist which they may not have found or assumed dead). Assuming the protagonist is searching for his child it may be that the BOS took most of the tech and found the baby also and may be useing the baby for something messed up because of /or just have intrest in, the infants age, purity (no radioactive contamination) and being possibly the only pre-war baby.

One thing to keep in mind is that during the presentation where they showed the concept art, there were multiple where the player character was shown fighting alongside the BoS. Then again, it could be another power armor wearing faction.

Maybe the part where you destroy the Brotherhood of Steel ship is when you're siding with the Institute, and the part where you're destroying a city is when you side with the Brotherhood of Steel and destroy the Institute.
