Is infant baptism Biblical?

Показать описание
Some Christian denominations do not baptize children deeming infant baptism unbiblical. They claim that the Bible doesn’t command infant baptism, and that nowhere does the Bible mention a particular baby being baptized. In addition, Baptism requires the declaration of faith in Jesus as Lord and Savior, but children haven’t reached the age where they can be fully responsible for their decisions, and therefore they should only be baptized when they get old enough to make a responsible decision.
On the other hand, the Coptic Orthodox, Catholic, and Eastern Orthodox churches baptize children and have done so since the first century after Jesus. So, did they all misunderstand the Bible?
