I just ordered this today to play with my kids (7&5). I like knowing how to play a new game before starting it with the kids. You explained this so well! Thank you.

I'm actually familiar with this one, but not with the rules... Very straight forward explanation. Thanks, Jason! 😊

What cute little cards, they look easy for kids to hold. I guess I'm used to games that have a start and finish line so this one with all the multiple paths was a little confusing at first but it now makes a little more sense. Looks like a good way to spend some time!

I like the art of the game. I have played an older version. This is good for D&D casual players, as an intro or for profesional players who want a simpler experience, a D&D campaign can last months, and this only an hour or so.

Played this with my 9 year old son. Once we'd grasped the rules we added our own where we could attack each other to rob loot. We found this hilarious at times. Used the monster fights back rule to resolve combat. Limited to one attack per zone do as to not over do it. Also we trade loot if we meet in a corridor or room. A bit of tweaking and could be fun for some of you to try.

I like the tiny playing cards, its a huge game that takes hours to play. Well worth it with a group of friends willing to spend the time.

I first got this game in probably about 1985. I don't have that copy anymore but I do have this newer version

I’ve never played D & D in any form & did not know that there was a tabletop version. This I think I could handle, though. 😊

It’s the last couple weeks of school and I got this game for my ESL class bc they’re tapped out but I wanted to find a story telling like game to practice conversation with (we’re done with any more formal learning). Thanks for this video bc it’s gonna be quite the learning curve figuring it out 😅 but I’m excited to try!!

@TabletopJason After fighting the first or second Monster in a Chamber (whether the Hero won or not), a Hero doesn't have to stick around unless he really wants to.
On his next turn the Hero may leave the Chamber.
By the same token, if the Hero doesn't defeat a Monster encountered in a Room he can leave the next turn (he isn't forced to remain and fight a too-powerful opponent!).
