You missed the mark on this one. The entire appeal of OnePlus is EXACTLY this: A phone that is comparable but slightly below the flagships in overall performance but only about 60% of the cost. The cost has always been their strongest aspect, the value comparison.

Pointless points! After all the reviews and considering the price (16gb for the price of 8 gb for next few days pre-order), pulled the trigger. Your view is probably ok for someone who owns 10 pro, but for someone who's upgrading from an earlier version, less leverage to go for the pricey 10pro

I was ready to hate on this phone too but it's $650 and you get most of what the 10 Pro has. This is basically what people have been asking for since 2020. Also, the flat screen is definitely an improvement, not a sacrifice. I have a 9 Pro and never use WQHD mode because it makes no discernible difference and costs battery life. The only thing I don't like is the alert slider going away, but I honestly leave my phone on vibrate 99% of the time.

U didn't mention that this phone is $270 cheaper than the 10 Pro, or 40% less than the Samsung Ultra. I would prefer this over Pixel 6

Just seen a CNet review of Pixel 6a last week. Google cut more corners in the 6a than OnePlus in 10T so why hate on the 10T?

The flat screen is actually an improvement. The biggest letdown is the removal of the alert slider. That's what made them unique. I use it religiously.

Why do you hate the phone. The average consumer doesn't even know about OnePlus in the United States. This phone has great battery life. Some people would consider this screen better than the 10 pro because it's flat and you don't get that glare on the sides. This phone is faster, more ram for a cheaper price. And to be quite honest most people use the camera to take pictures of their kids or when their on vacation, and side by side with the 10 pro pictures are about the same. If your not a hardcore OnePlus person, nobody knows what the alert slider is. And to be honest why would I need wireless charging, when I could just plug it in for about 15 min. You don't even have to charge overnight anymore, by the time you get get dressed in the mourning you have a full charge.

The premise of this video is so dumb. The 10T is not a direct successor to the 10 Pro and is accordingly priced much lower.

This video is a big thumbs down. Way down. To say the phone isn't worth it. I would rather buy this phone over a phone that costs over $1k. Sure, the cameras aren't as pretty, the screen isn't as bright, but it's cheaper and affordable. That's what the T line is. Lower cost than the previous with premium features. Also, you get four OS updates, which is a big deal to many. I would get this phone over the pro series. Andrew, redo the video. I respect you, but you just nitpick over little stuff all because they lowered the phone price and took out some stuff that you love.

Curved screens are such a subjective feature that I don't think it can be considered an advantage or disadvantage.

$650... I'll trade in my Galaxy S21+ for it. I don't take much pictures, don't wireless charge, hate curve screens, current phone is 1080p, don't want/need mute switch. Snapdragon 888 to 8+ Gen 1. This phone is for me.
