So I have the same car 06 Corolla CE, and my car shakes pretty heavily even at 800rpm, will doing this just set the idle to a factory default at 800? Or does is there a way to adjust it a bit higher than that? I know when my radiator fan turns on it goes to about 1200 and it’s smooth (I also don’t know why it does that, switches the fan on and off constantly). Now I have some codes that I’m trying to fix right now that might be the culprit, bank 1 too lean, two cylinders misfiring, EVAP emissions leak. Sorry for the long comment just struggling a bit trying to learn😅

I know there's a key turning method that resets the maintenance light. I've found this method and done it twice and both times on two different corollas 06 and 2019 models. Both had check engine light come on. Will not be doing it this way again, but glad everyone else who did it didn't have issues.

is it essential its at operating temp before doing the reset? do you need to let it run rough then do the reset? would plugging in my block heater do it? my battery died after sitting for a long time. i used a trickle charger to charge it back up but its idling so slow im afraid it might stall if i try to move it. so going to do this later today. also, is there an ignition trick like this to get my air bag light to go off or do i have to get the clock spring replaced - $500, ugh. my 2006 corolla, has well over 300k kms. the odometer stopped at 299, 999

Good my toyota runx 1.6, when you put your foot on the gas it drive rough. Change the cat change the MAF change the oil change the coil pack change the spark plugs and change oxgen sensor. Please help

can someone tell me why my 06 Corolla's air filter box vibrates heavy after the car warms up? It happens when i am stopped at a traffic light.

i have cleaned the MAF sensor, installed new plugs, coil packs and the air filter is new.
