Thanks for the videos they've really been a help.
But I've got a question.
When you do set notation, is it necessary to add in the 'e R' as I saw my teacher write the set notation as {x: x>2}.?
Once again thanks for the videos.

Do you not have to specify that 'x E R' in interval notation?
If so, is set notation the type of notation that gives you the most information about what x actually could be (complex, real etc.) ?

In the second number line x=‐3 is okay (can be), however how is x<-3 when the x is going the other way I.e., towards the positive numbers side (-3, -2, -1, 0, 1, 2, 3, ...).
