Distributive Property

Things to Remember:
1. "Say hi, multiply." (addition)
2. "Say bye, multiply." (subtraction)
3. Expression is left as addition or subtraction sentence.
4. Solve means add or subtract to get an answer.

The answers are actually 36x + 15x and 24x - 18x because when there is an x outside the parenthese sign that means you add them with the numbers inside them. :D
