Oscar Fish Growth Update

Oscar 5-month growth update! Before I mention any feeding tips, the setup at the beginning was my wife’s choice 🤪 I was totally against it but had to settle for it when she insisted. She was new to the hobby, and like any beginner, she wanted a setup with stones and this background. Luckily, I was able to convince her later on to change the setup.
Let’s start with the Oscar growth tips now:
1. Feed your Oscar daily, preferably twice a day but make sure not to overfeed. Be careful with the feeding portions
2. Keep the water quality top notch!
3. Choose the right tank size for your Oscar. I initially added it to a 3 feet tank when it was about 3 inches in size. But after two months, I shifted it to a 5 feet tank along with the other cichlids. Oscar fishes need space, and they will grow healthily only if you provide them with plenty of space.
4. Choose the right tank mates for them
5. Make sure there’s no aggression in the tank by providing plenty of hiding spots and objects that block line of sight.
6. Don’t add medicines unnecessarily to your tank!
7. Cycle your tank before adding the fish and provide good filtration!
