Why Trinitarians & Others Fail to Understand Jesus as God

Often we hear Trinitarians say, “Jesus is God.” Yet, what they mean is Jesus is a “Person” (= not an individual being) of God (= one individual Being), with “God” being the Trinity. When Trinitarians say, “Jesus is God,” they do not mean “God” in the sense of their 'One God,' which is the Trinity. So they end up saying one thing, which is quite different from what they really mean, and something nowhere articulated or presented to us in the Bible: "Person" of God not being an individual G/god, and with "God" not being one Person, but three non-individual beings).
The latter view in the above paragraph is that of the Christian Witnesses of Jah. We accept the Bible as the primary authority for Judeo-Christian beliefs and for accurate history, completely sufficient to define all necessary doctrine without having to go outside of its pages or, worse, to councils and creeds which came about hundreds of years after the Bible was written. We believe the Bible clearly teaches there is “one God, the Father” who “made [Jesus] Lord” to the Father’s glory (1 Corinthians 8:6; Acts 2:36; Philippians 2:9-11). He is not a “mode” of God, but a separate being from the Father, the “only-begotten god” in contrast to the “one God,” the “one God’s” Firstborn Son, the one whom the Father ‘imprinted’ into existence as a copy of his spirit being.—John 1:1-18; 4:24; Hebrews 1:1-6.
This brief video provides a clear explanation based solely on the Bible about how Jesus is rightly “God” to us, without compromising the explicit Christian teaching of “one God, the Father.”
