We are saying all the bad or dumb thing about it because we are biased towards our carrer.
According to me the problem is not that it won't solve the issue but the problems are
1) We communicate it as a human and we don't give it prompt it in very clearly and precisely.(This will be solved in coming years definitely.)
2) It is too costly than a normal developer. As of now because in starting products were sold at premium but it become affordable by time.

I am pretty sure that the AGI will definitely come in upcoming next 2-3 years if the hype of this thing will be in market. Because the pace of development is very fast yea money is also burning in this this field a lot.

Watched entire vid! It is doing fairly well. Its in initial stage though after having enough data on the company side and issues they get reported, they will try to fix these. Time to upksill even more guys

Long message incoming: I work in a faang india company where my work looks like migrating code from a to b stack using LLMs(basically code generation). Trust me, it's abysmally poor, no matter how much training or prompting you come up with. And trust me on this as well, that if we had a solution in the world for llm driven code generation, there isnt a chance in hell this company wont buy it no matter what the price. So unless some great research paper comes along, its doing jackshit. Yes itll do menial tasks like changing variable names n stuff, otherwise i wont have a job lol(is making LLMs migrate code even a job tho?). But the moment you expect LLM to figure something out on its own, it hallucinates so much, it might as well start saying dadjokes. Hence in a nutshell, to hell with LLM fear mongering based on tech available till date. All you need to do is to keep an eye on the research.

you guys shouldnot fear these LLM AI models, these models just can generate codes when humans gives prompts, probably you should fear when AI becomes some kind like a human brain you know like if they design neuro technology by coping how human brain neuro works, and then the AI can think itself and work without prompting, that would be a pain, but one thing is the design like human brain i mean how neuro works or designed in our brain is actually not achivable to bring to machines, and still scientists doesnot even fully know how humans neuro systems actuallyy designed and how its working and its its almost unachivable to build something like a human brain i guess
