I met Paul Newman at the Oakland airport coming out from a door behind the PSA ticket counter, asked for an autograph and he said no he didn't believe in them but would shake my hand and did, nice guy. Thank You for sharing, very much appreciated.

Priceless treasures! Great picture from Lackland. Please let your son know that one of your fans served 24 years, retired as a Senior Master Sergeant and I was a "T. I." from 1988-1991 at Lackland. During my time at Lackland we dedicated the "Bob Hope performing arts center" at Lackland. I didn't get to meet him but I did get to stand very close to him.

Wow, I just watched both parts and all I can say is you are such a political and character actor geek, Jeff! THANK GOODNESS!! What young boy would beg their mom to drive two hours so he could get a glimpse of a politician? No wonder your videos are so wonderful, you are really an interesting guy and I am so glad you started History Hunters.

I met James
Doohan, the actor who played Scotty on Star Trek
He called me darling, and was a wonderful gentleman, stood up to shake my hand, gave me his autograph
I've found that many celebrities are for the most part friendly. Thanks for sharing your experiences.

This is so fun thank you for sharing. My Grandfather Edwin Perlstein was an Entertainment Attorney. He worked for Desilu Studios, Universal Studios, and shared a firm with Mickey Rudin. I had met a few celebrities growing up but we were never allowed to ask for autographs. We (my sister and I) had to be on our "best behavior and remember our manners." I do have a few autographs in books, cards and I inherited some of my Grandfather's old contract files. It is so neat how you get to meet so many celebrities.

Really a people meeter you are. I was a freelance report for a horse magazine in Orange County, CA in the mid 1980s called Today's Horseman and did actually to go Iron Eyes Cody's house in the Los Feliz section of LA. He gave me an autographed picture of him holding a western boot and at one time shortly thereafter asked if he could ride my Appaloosa gelding in the Rose Parade. I was excited to say the least but that didn't come about. His place was a little non descript house and he had so many TV's in his living room. The interview was fun and published.
