So glad you like this car I've been following your videos for a while now and I happen to own a 370z. Everyone I meet has nothing but positive things to say about it's looks. What stands out to me is the rev matching feature as well as that huge Bose subwoofer hidden under the boot. I love this car, one of the very last old school cars ever.

Love a V6 motor. Cracking car. I'd have one in a heartbeat. Great review Matt. This channel just keeps churning out top quality content!

Straight away, the first time you accelerated, I thought that sounded like FAKE engine noise. So I Googled it and yep, confirmed - piped and enhanced engine sounds through the stereo. Like putting stick on timber-grain vinyl wallpaper on your dining room walls and saying "Oooh, now that's rustic".

The 370Z is a great car, but I can live without the looks of the anniversary package. The new Nissan Z is based on the chassis of the 370Z, that should tell you how good this car is.

My son has one and he loves it. Two foibles to be aware of, if the steering lock fails electrically, you can release the steering, but you'll never start the car. Also, if the water pump fails, it's a big job, it's in the engine driven by the timing chain, not bolted to the outside. HTH

I bought mine for my 30th back in April. I absolutely adore it. It’s that analogue, old school feel that does it for me. Having to be gentle, slow and deliberate with everything until she’s properly warmed up, then once the oil temp goes above 90, drop a cog or several and let her go.

Mine’s a manual GT. The Synchro rev is fun, though I prefer to heel and toe myself.

Demands a lot of the driver but also rewards in equal measure.

I bought a new 2019 370Z 6MT with the sport pkg in Magnetic black and currently have about 44K miles on it. I had some stiffer Hotchkis anti-roll bars and stainless steel brake lines put in and in about a month I'm bringing it down to LA California to have a high performance exhaust system and tuned intake system installed, along with an EcuTek tune on a chassis dyno. We're figuring on getting probably another ~40 hp of peak horsepower and about a 12% gain in torque across the rev range. Future upgrades are planned for reducing the car's weight a modest amount, without butchering the appearance or functionality, and stiffening the chassis in certain places with some aluminum alloy chassis braces.

The car is an absolute blast to drive and is eminently practical for me as a daily driver. I have had sports cars in the past: an MGB, an Austin Healy Sprite and a Porsche 944s and this is the best car by far. There have been no reliability or quality issues, with normal maintenance being my only expenses.

I always remember giving way to a 350z on a roundabout and thinking 'that sounds awesome!' glad they didn't ruin the sound for the 370z. This kind of car is right up my street I hope to one day have something similar. Great vid again Matt more of this please!

The first Z car I drove was when I worked for Leigh Bros. in Romiley. It was a Datsun dealership directly across the road from your showroom. I’ve never tried one of the modern cars but enjoyed the review and can see what you’d be tempted.

When you see the 240z the styling still looks great for a car that is 50 years old,

I've decided I have a problem with the High Peak Autos channel. You make it impossible to choose what car I really want. I watch a video and think "I love that, I want one!". Then a few days later I watch another video and think "I want that one too!". There are the odd occasions where I don't covet the car you are reviewing, and those are usually the "as part of a lot " sh1tboxes you sometimes get lumbered with. Still, they make good content, if only to remind people why they are not a good buy.
But, one thing we have come to expect and appreciate is the honest reviews, openness of what it costs you when you get a car with issues, and the cracking one-liners that you come out with.
If I were well off, I'd gift you a Qashqai as a thank you for the content. I know you'd love it! 😂😂😂

I did 12k miles in Spain and Portugal over six months in a manual one of these and it was awesome. I am a Porsche guy usually but really enjoyed my time and would consider another.

I sold my used 2011 model in February 2021 only due to putting too many kms on it. 9 months later I bought a new one as I missed the fun of driving in it so much. I did look at other vehicles but for power and price you just couldn’t beat it. I definitely recommend this vehicle, just get it thoroughly checked out before buying as they can get abused by drivers. Nice video!
