In the wild, titanoboa probably ate large crocodiles, fish and other snakes - but if there were a titanoboa at the National Zoo today, what would the zoo keepers feed it?

I find it rather strange that I'm petrified of even the smallest spiders, but I wouldn't have a problem walking right up to Titanoboa and giving it a hug.

Sorry. It was me... The man in the dark robes offered me a cookie. It was totally worth it.

I would imagine for its first few meals that it would start with the zookeepers. ... This was a fun video, by the way, with a sharp sense of humour.

If a 50-foot Titanoboa were alive today, what would it eat?

I'd love to see one at a zoo. But the problem with that is... it means there are some out in the wild....

Given that it takes an anaconda 3+ weeks to digest an antelope [a large goat] and it can go months without food - give the titanboa a water buffalo or a young elephant and you wouldn't have to feed it for a year or more.

Humans are such chickens.

What kind of person wouldn't want to watch a 50ft long snake eat a freaking cow? That sounds awesome.

This snake lived most of its life on water as it was too heavy to walk on land:

"Swallowing a cow whole... yeah I don't know if that's something the public would want to see." I dunno, when I was last at the Reptile House at the SNZ, a lot of people were gathered around the Everglades Ratsnake exhibit watching it eat a mouse. A cow... who knows.

Titanoboa was 42ft not 50ft. Idk why people keep changing its size. It was just 42-43ft long and weighed a ton. It mostly spent its time in water

Sarcosuchus inside a zoo would be scary as well.

No, Raty is correct. There was a 49 foot python discovered in Indonesia and held in captivity. Look up the video on google, it's not hard to find.

That's a titanoboa, the ancestor of anaconda. One of the reasons why they share same physical characteristics.
