He knew I liked Robert Redford and for Christmas. I got Robert Redford and picture frames gorgeous pictures black-and-white I lost my husband over a year ago. It was unexpected. He was only 55. There will never be another. He always knew what to say what to do to make me smile surprise me with little things. But I’m very grateful I find my true love lot of people can’t say that and I know we’ll be together again

My Father was in the Navy 21 years between 1954-1975. My Mother always balled when this song played even though they never separated and raised 5 children together. They are both gone now and I'm a 65 year old second endlessly.

I saw this movie when it was first released (1973), and i remember that when it ended everybody in the audience was crying. Nobody left right away -a teenage girl was sobbing loudly, men had handkerchiefs out, people wiping away tears. Everyone was just wrung out by the experience of watching The Way We Were.
