The Boeing B-17 Flying Fortress is an iconic World War II era heavy bomber. This video shows one of the few remaining B-17G's in the world (44-83514) which is named Sentimental Journey, landing at Victoria International Airport on 30 July 2023. The aircraft has a civilian registration of N9323Z.

The aircraft was built by Douglas Aircraft in late 1944, and was accepted by the U.S. Army Air Forces on 13 March 1945.

The nose art features Betty Grable, the number one pinup girl of the World War II era, and the aircraft's name takes after a song made very popular by Doris Day in 1945.

What a soft landing. Warbirds always look great but even better with Beautiful BC as the backdrop
