I've said it before and I'll say it again:
You're the only tech channel that includes shipping charges on your final cost.

All other major channels just handwave that away, which is unrealistic for a true budget and sets bad expectations/precedent.

Thank you for keeping it real with all costs involved.

I love these guys they aren't like other creators building $10k systems for fun. They make content that is possible to replicate and also learn from. Much love guys

I would like to see them hit the streets and buy in person. The deals are much better.

That HP Z440 is still the budget build king... Even just a $10 upgrade to the CPU would have dominated this challenge.
Saving a few bucks on shipping from a different seller would have made up the difference.
An AE branded RX580 2048SP should have also been considered.

Those Z440 are the platform of choice for any sub $300 budget.
A faster Broadwell v4 CPU w/ 12+ cores, with Quad-Channel RAM, and an RX 5700XT or something similar...
A simple build like that still holds up in modern gaming, and even slaps down current consoles.

i want to thank you for following up on these pcs for real world usage versus gaming. i'd love to see a build with a 2680 v4, and it's use for video editing and rendering and an appropriate video card. thanks for the budget setups as always.

Honestly i found a laptop with a 3060 and an i7 12700H at 866€ which at first might not seem like a good deal but i am in italy and usually something like that costs like 1050€ and btw its a great piece of tech

You should include some form of punishment for a losing party, nothing too harsh, but something like 20 pushups, plank for 2 minutes, 30 squats or buy McAllister dinner etc. It would make this challenges more thrilling to watch and conclusion much more entertaining.

I bought an 8th gen Lenovo for 45 bucks and put a T600 inside I got at a yard sale for 50 bucks. 32 gigs ram already inside, 1tb m.2 and it plays Helldiver's solid 38 FPS for under a hundo.

I live in norwalk ca. Not too far from a micro center. I would never have known micro center existed if not for youtubers. I have yet to see a commercial on TV about micro center😆
