Waveform QuadMini Setup & Review

In this video we walk through the entire setup on the Waveform QuadMini Antenna. After the setup we walk through various testing that includes using the new desktop mount, suction cups for mounting on a window, as well as the pole mount. We look at the metrics for both 4G LTE and 5G in various locations in my home using the various mounting systems. Before any testing occurred I did before a baseline without the antenna to compare the results with.

The end of this video @16:30 is confusing, are you just testing the Waveform antenna on the invisagig? Or is that with another 4x4 antenna, you mention multiple speed tests over 400mbps, but it just is not clear what is being compared there.

They say this isn't directional, but I noticed that if your antenna is pointing the wrong direction, the signal is just not great. Turning it around sent the speed up dramatically. This could make a difference in window mounting.

After weeks of issues with both antennas, I figured out that crossing the number 2 and and 3 cable at the gateway finally got me good results. The rest of the time, the signal reception was worse.

Just ordered this antena, but in your video you do not show how you attached the pig tails to your gateway.
I have a gate way that looks
Like yours, but I see no connection on the bottom of mine.

I just got mine. No where in the instructions does it say what band should be connected to which antenna port. Thank you for covering that in your video. Antenna 1=LTE M, Antenna 2= MIMO 1, Antenna 3=5GNRP, Antenna 4=LTE D

In what order did you attach the antenna leads to the Invisagig ports?

I'm actually gonna try this Antenna with my Chester Cheetah SDX75 Gateway/Modem! I already get around 700 Download and around 15 to 20 Upload with my Waveform 4X4 Antenna sitting on a shelf up in the Attic facing out the Window and that's with the Cell Tower literally right down the Road from me. I like that this smaller Antenna has more Mounting options and I wanna try it Mounted in the Attic Window using the Suction Cups and see if I can get better Speeds since it's Omnidirectional. We do have a Tower that's behind my Waveform 4X4 Antenna on the other side of the House that Tower is farther away but since this Antenna is Omnidirectional it might give me better Speeds because it might try to connect to both Towers and that would be fine because I'm using a Third Party Gateway/Modem that allows connecting to multiple Towers. They say bigger is better when it comes to Antenna's but Directional Antenna's aren't always better because they have to be placed just right for optimal performance. If it doesn't give me any better Speeds or about the same Speeds I'll just return it and keep my Waveform 4X4 Antenna.
