Rethinking Morton’s Neuroma

The so-called “Morton’s neuroma” is actually a mechanically induced neuropathy. We inject them, laser them, shock-wave them, and even cut them out – only to find the pain reoccurs. Watch our next webinar to get further insights so that you can provide your patients with faster, more efficient long-term results.

Thank you . This was so informative. I wish the many doctors I have gone to had a fraction of this information. I will visit the website. Appreciate you for taking the time to inform us . Thanks 🙏

So how exactly do you remedy the situation?
How do you stabilize the foot if orthotics don't necessarily help?

I had a pallet of Cans set on my foot at a factory when I was 16. For years it felt like a pad under my foot. Now I am 67 and doing something about it.

Will you do consults or speak with a patient's doctor about your findings? The Tallus alignment really is the key! I have told several Orthopedic doctors and surgeons that my neuroma is caused by the collapse of my arches, including the transverse arch and pronation as well as something I could not quite understand before watching this video! I used to do Veterinary surgery, so I am not your regular patient with no education. It is a simple biomechanical, anatomical alignment problem that I have TRIED to explain, in vain! I hate it when a medical professional wears blinders and just because they have NOT been trained in something, they become defensive and blind to seeing something perfectly CLEAR, which you detail so clearly in this expertly recorded video! You brilliantly describe what needs to be heard by all Podiatry and Orthopedic professionals! I have to give the Chiropractic doctors credit for this also, because THEY are trained in biomechanics of the human body! One of my friends, who is a DC agrees with this video! The ONLY relief I have other than complete rest off my foot, is when a DC adjusts my foot and this INCLUDES the Tallus!! I hope to send several health care professionals to you, who will be grateful to hear your findings! I would love to speak with you and find an MD where I live who will look at your work and be interested in looking at what I KNOW I want to take part in!
I cannot thank you enough for publishing this! You are a BLESSING to your profession, sir!
(You have my permission and I request for you to contact me. I could not see or didn't quite understand what you said, for permission and contact!) Please tell me how to accomplish this!

Just went to ER yesterday for this horrible surprise. WORST pain I have ever experienced. Felt like the top of my left foot was being stabbed all day.

I’ve had this problem since I was 18 and am now middle aged. First one foot then the other. The right always the worst. Tried the injection a couple of years ago. Painfree for one week only. A nurse told me she had an op for it but a year later the burning sensation returned. So I ruled out an operation. All I can do now is wear orthotic supports in flat shoes. Now both feet are affected. I miss being able to stride out and walk well, at best I just manage. If I’m on my feet too long I have to sit and rest. This presentation is encouraging. I’m in the U.K. and it doesn’t look as though we are any further forward here with treatment. I agree that orthotics do not fix the underlying cause and only help relieve pain. Your treatment path makes sense. I hope that others use this study to further help research. Many thanks.

Great preso. Learned a lot.

Why zero discussion of strengthening / altering leg muscles to aid long term recovery and realignment?

Contra repetitive exercise ( chronic cardio), increase medial tension or decrease lateral tension in leg to address pronation?

My foot is causing me so much pain. I can’t be on it very long.Steroid injection is not working.I already had back trouble before breaking my foot and before the neuroma formed. Thanks for the information. I will speak to my orthopaedic surgeon about these things rather than just having the nerve removed.

I am 58 years old and JUST developed this pain and condition, as I began jogging again recently after 20 years. This video was extremely informative and will save me from pursuing the treatments that most drs seem to prescribe. Is yours available in the Orlando area?

Esa RX esta vista de arriba. No se supone que los huesos a esa altura formen un arco vistos de frente y por ese motivo desde arriba se ven mas cerca?

I'm almost completely positive actually for myself I am completely positive that the mpj issue is caused by walking on hard flat surfaces and bad footwe. motions that we have to make daily also happen to be redundant. I know that walking in nature where the ground gives offers active engagement of muscles which hard flat. besides just the physiology. For example, magnetic macrobiome soil literally gives way to our movement, therefore assisting us even with our off gategives, and especially the fact that the soil gives beneath the feet. If we're walking on a hard flat artificially man-made surface of the floor whatever we're walking on does not assist us in our gate and our movement doesn't actually helped us move forward. Deprivation from active ground source rapes our feet of the ability to literally be active. Microbiome also assists
