Rhaenyra dies but she made sure that Alicent got punished with imprisonment for life as a daily reminder that her whole family died and it all could’ve been avoided if she had just sent a raven to Dragonstone telling Rhaenyra that her Father is dead and to come back to Kings Landing as the new ruler instead of committing treason and making Aegon king.
