Cross Country Practice (X-Plane 11 Cessna Home Cockpit)

In my real-world flight training I have a cross country coming up from KOQN to KMDT and back. This morning I pulled out the charts, flight planner, and E6B flight computer and planned the flight using real-world weather, and then flew it in the sim with only paper charts and my flight log. Here's the flight, and for simmers looking to learn more about VFR and VOR navigation it should be of some interest as well. As always, thanks for watching.

Wow, KOQN Brandywine is awesome. Any chance you could do Coatesville's KMQS? I use to fly into KMQS from KBDR every Monday for a year. It would be cool to get a scenery that is close to the real thing.
Thanks for spending your time with us!

you really do take flight simulation to the next level. I love the headcam in this video, I didn't think I would but it really does add something.
quick question if I may...I'm struggling to get my saitek multi panel working with XP 11. do you have any info on that?
Great vid thank you so much for making these videos!

Please add my voice to those in praise of your cockpit. It is stunning. Are there plans, or anything available to help someone duplicate it? Thanks in advance.

How great a query will be that you can share your screen configurations with us, as you did to make the wings look like this on each screen, I can't get them to look like this, it would be very nice without sharing your settings

Nice video. The rudders on landing have always seemed rather touchy in X-Plane for me. I have found that adjusting the sensitivity helped. If you haven't already, in X-P 11 try opening the rudder pedals setup and click the Control Sensitivity button.... and try adjusting for more stability. As for differential braking that is very tough since in the real world we apply pressure and in the sim it uses the pedal angle. Hard to move your ankles evenly in a synchronized way. I think the Virtual Fly RUDDO may be the solution as it measures the brake force viz. angle. Until I can save up the $900 to get one I can't really say it is the answer but if my YOKO is an example of what to expect I am willing to try it.

Hey.. I've been watching your videos for a while and you inspired me to start my own setup. The first person video looks stunning and it will even look more convincing if you use something that will track your head movement and will accordingly move the sim camera as your head moves. it will make your visual setup more immersive and you'll feel like you're looking into an airplane windows. I'm using TrackIR to do that and i'm configuring the trackir software to follow my head x, y, z movements and i'm disregarding roll/pitch and yaw movement. Nice scenery BTW.

Always enterteining

Sir, your voice is very clear. Is there any sound enhancement or is it the directly recorded sound on your gopro.

Thanks

I see you are using the same gauges on you FIP as you were when using P3D.  Correct me if I am wrong, but aren't those from FSXTimes for the A2A 172?  If so, how did you get them working on X-Plane?

Hi, first of all excuse me for my bad english, y have a doubt, in xplane 10 you must install xplane10 for each view, do you have to do the same with xplane11?, or you just move the view where you want, thank you.

Amazing video! Would you be able to do some circuits around Armidale (YARM) in Australia?
