@ 51:19 "Which is fine 'cause people don't want to fly it (172)." I'm quite sure you're right. It's fun to get in a fast plane or get acclimated to a complex plane, but, I always felt that if I hit the lottery, I'd have a faster plane, like an SR22 or Turbo-normalized Bonanza, AND a "low and slow" plane. The fast plane is nice for the challenges and getting from point A to point B quickly. But, whatever happened to the joy of the FEELING of flying and enjoying how beautiful nature is below you and what a FANTASTIC job high wing planes do with that, eh what? A 172 or Cessna Cardinal so you don't even have the wing struts to look past, or a Piper Cub? Or maybe even better... a Cavalon auto-gyro on floats? Oh, baby! That's my 2¢. For an example of the last aircraft mentioned...
Go to YouTube channel "Tim Morell" and look at the video entitled "Gyroplane on Floats, Sweden".
