Linear LDCO800 Garage Door Opener Chain Rattling

This is a common issue with the Linear LDCO800 chain drive garage door openers that started about four years ago. To get rid of the rattling first try loosening the chain a half a turn on the adjustment. Loosening the chain fixes some units while other units need the chain tightened. The only thing we can assume is changes were made to the drive sprocket or somewhere else on the unit.
