I remember being in senior year math surrounded by kids who just did not try, no effort was put in, and then when I passed they were like, "you're so smart" and I said "no, im just putting in a little effort" W teacher

This happened to one of my favorite teachers last year. Sophomore year I had the best English teacher, she seemed excited about the work she made for us and always engaged with us whenever she could. She got in trouble since too many kids were failing, but it wasn’t even her fault. Answer a few questions from a book which have you the answers in the first two pages mostly, then write a few paragraphs or an essay about the chapter. She just broke down and started crying, we had to stop doing the book assignments and reading it all together and just got generic English work which nobody bothered to even try and do. I heard she got fired recently too which is really sad. Probably my favorite sophomore teacher.

My teachers would always tell my class this:

"Whether, you pass or fail, come to school or not, and submit your assignments on time or don't do them at all, I'm won't be the one that be affected, you will. We are here to guide you, teach you to the best of our abilities so that you achieve all that you want in life. Because in college, we won't be there to chase after you, trying to get you to submit your work on time. You will on your own there."

I know that was really long, but I really respect my teachers over the years. I hope they're doing fine.

Moreover, my uncle was a teacher and listening to his struggles really makes me empathize with this teacher
