Thank you for these class sir . I think you made a careless mistake in right hand side equation(4x/5 = 640 - 6x/5)

x+y = 640 ; y = 640-x

x- x/5 = 640-x + x/5 ( as the oranges taken from 1st basket and added to the 2nd basket they are equal )
4x/5 = 640 - 6x/5
4x/5 + 6x/5 = 640
10x/5 = 640
2x= 640. ; x = 320

After taking out 1/5 of oranges, number of oranges left behind must be = 400 - 400/5 = 400-80= 320.
