For the plot-hole in "Sending Core memories through the Recall tube" the developers say Joy didn't do that because of Joy's arrogance, she doesn't trust the other emotions at all and she prefers to keep them with her.

We all have emotions in our head but our emotions in our head also have emotions in their head but that would mean they're not all one main emotion if they all have other emotions in their heads but if there are emotions in their head does that mean the emotions in their head also deal with emotions in their head and the struggle of emotions?

Fun fact: The director explained why Joy didn't just send the core memories up through the recall tube. They did think of that and decided that Joy would never let them out of her sight like that.
