Renault Duster 4WD - Long-term Review

We've just handed our Duster back after a month-long test with Renault's plucky little compact crossover. The Duster occupies a unique space in the market with its rugged, no-nonsense attitude and apparent offroad ability, and we were happy to be afforded the chance to live with it for an extended period.

In this video, we discuss what we liked, and didn't like so much, about the Duster. We take a look at the 4WD system, the infotainment system, engine and gearbox options, as well as let you in on a problem our test unit suffered.

Bought a 2016 Duster 4x2 1.5L Turbo Diesel new and had the exact same issue with the clutch; please note you can pull the clutch into it's correct position by hand and carry on driving as per normal - the issue was fixed by the dealership under warranty with no further problem. Other than that no issues with the vehicle thus far I'm sitting on about 23 000km.

Anybody got some experience with the Renault Duster's after sales service from your local Renault dealer? Anything break down and was fixed (or NOT fixed) under warranty? How long did you have to wait for parts? Car delivered on time after a service as the dealership had offered? General impressions, good things and gripes about the duster after having driven it for a while?

Hi pls tell that whether 4 wd lock mode in duster is equivalent to low range gear box in other 4 wd like fortuner? I m asking this bcoz in duster it works only below 60kmph and above that it shifts into auto mode . Pls answer.

God knows what fault is hidden in the car...be careful in buying Renault products...the rate of faulty cars from Renault..is more as compared to any other brand for the same price tag...it. seems awesome ..but not worth for competitive price tag..buying a bit more expensive car would be worthy over a long run...(reliability issue..level ...off the chart)
