Why Hasn't ANYONE Done This??? WIRELESS Amp Channel Switching using your GUITAR!

What if you didn't have to run to your pedalboard right before a solo. I came up with a way to switch my amp channel wirelessly from my guitar.

This is brilliant. I have a Line6 JTV59 Variax and a helix floor. In the past I've used the Cat6 cable to be able to connect the guitar to the Helix and control patch changes from the guitar, as well as have the helix tell the Variax to change guitar and pickup types as well, which is AWESOME. BUT it's NOT wireless. I'm still frustrated that Line6 hasn't come up with a wireless solution for this. In the mean time, I'm using a combination of wireless and some other MIDI controllable effects so if there was a solution for this within a reasonable price point I would certainly consider it.

Amazing thing, do you know of any tutorial that teaches to do something like this for just a regular channel switching single button footswitch?

I'd say the only only issue is being able to service it once's self on the fly should anything go bad. It's certainly a cool idea. I think and old kiko loureio model had a similar thing with effects integrated but nothing quite this advanced.

I like the idea, I could use it strait up with the JP2C+ midi(ground control or boss gt-1000), but I would like it to be in small pack on my strap not in the guitar. I beleive Herman Lee does this with his bluetooth finger ring.

Super cool concept but hard to imagine why you would need it when having a switcher that can do all this. Interesting nonetheless 🤘

I had the same idea for switching delay on/off and not having to run to footswitch. It's the idea pile I might try out some time.
How did you implement the battery level check?

I'm disabled and pedals are a little more difficult than they used to be. I've had the idea to control individual loops using some kind of switch, which led me to this video. seems like it'd be a lot simpler than this because there would only need to be "on" and "bypass" modes.. any insight as to how I could accomplish that?

I had a wireless system back in the days with a buid in channel changer buit i don't remember the brand, it was more than 20 years ago. I've sold it because i preferred a cable
