Gambit was always shamelessly flamboyant and cocky in a way that was endearing, charming and debonair. I feel like the movie was able to channel some of the character's essence into Tatum's portrayal even with the limited screentime. Tatum did fine.

Now I want to see Rogue interacting with his Gambit. Can't wait to hear her say "sugah" to him with that distinctive Southern drawl.

Fun fact: my cousin worked for Bear Grylls for years and worked on the episode where Channing Tatum was the guest star. He said Channing Tatum was the nicest, most down to earth dude ever, and was the first guest star they had that did all the dangerous crap on the show without fear. He took my cousin and cousin's GF out to dinner after the production and was just the nicest guy. My cousin said the goofy way he acts with certain characters is just his normal self. Apparently a lot of the guest stars they had were assholes and divas so Channing was a nice change of pace.
