More tips :
1-You can see when the skeleton is goona shoot by looking at the bow there is a arrow texture in front of the bow but its not charged when there is no arrow texture so block with your shield when they shoot after strike the skeletons
2-if you cant find iron and you are going go in a cave make a stone sword instead since 2 critical hits will take skeletons jump the first time to hit your first critical hit and then jump again to hit another critical hit
3-click left click in your mouse while hitting shift on your keyboard will craft as many times as you can

tips for hardcore:

1- get armor and shields. get fully geared up

2- get a bed asap to skip the night

3- find a village and sell them their crops, then buy their gear.

4- if you're on bedrock, get gold apples

5- use mods. i use night vision mods

6- make copies of your world especially if there are tons of monsters or if you're in a cave.

7- watch farm tutorials like raid farms

8- be very careful

9- place as much torches as you can

10- get a base and be secure

11- i do this. a good seed (8003843 works) and seed maps to find the structures

12- loot strongholds for books and enchanted books instead of wasting like 1 hour to get bookshelves

13- do the exact same thing to find buried treasure. they have iron, gold, diamonds, armor, water breathing potions, and regeneration potions (nobody uses heart of the sea)
