BEGINNERS guide to SPEEDRUNNING MINECRAFT!!

In this tutorial will show you how to SpeedRun Minecraft as Fast as Possible. I will teach you everything you need to know and some tips and tricks that even the most experienced Minecraft speedrunners will learn something from.

I've had a bunch of people recently ask me about how to start speedrunning Minecraft so I figured I'd make a comprehensive video tutorial to answer all of the frequently asked questions. The video was already to long so ive missed out plenty of minecraft tips. If you want to see this tips in a separate video let me know in the comments down below.

Tip:
if you're struggling to find a lava source try digging down and turn subtitles on so that you can see the words "lava flowing" when lava is nearby this trick has helped me many times

I’ve had 25 attempts for speed runs, no dubs. I’ve watched a couple of videos and no cap, this is the best one I’ve watched so far. I’ll be practicing again and will report back if I made it!!

note about where to build your second portal: you should make it about 220 blocks away from 0, 0 in the nether, i believe he built it in the fortress because it happened to be pretty close to there already, the reason is strongholds only spawn in certain rings and 220 blocks away in the nether brings you into that ring

My weakness is no sign of food, ever since I attempt speedrunning, Minecraft just senses it, and just starts to lower the chance of spawning food, although I get tons of ores in any caves I see.

the problem about 1 cycling is, the dragon is very smart. (when i placed a bed, dragon quickly destroys my bed before i had a change to explode it because the dragon knows i am gonna blow up the bed)
I cant 1-cycle because of that. Do you have any tips for that?
And also how to avoid piglin brutes? Do you have any tips for that? (They are just annoying gold armor doesnt work and giving him gold also doesnt work)

Heres my experience: it all was well until my first few seconds in the nether on my first try because of the nether portal blocks i couldnt see and walked of an edge into lava which was a block away from the portal on my second try 3 hoglins spawned next to me that instantly killed me, bad luck i guess.
