Machinists union makes announcement after Boeing contract vote

The 33,000 members of Boeing's IAM District 751 Machinists Union voted on a new contract and whether or not to strike on Thursday Sept. 12.

The strike begins at midnight, Sept. 13.

He and everyone in the union leadership will continue to get paid while the members that are striking make $250 a week. How is that leading by example?
They should take a pay cut during the strike so they feel the financial pain and work harder to bargain.

We spoke up, we stood up and said NO. Boeing needs major change and to stop mistreating their workers, the ones who actually build the airplanes. Pay a fair wage, LISTEN to what were saying. We've been vocal about issues that managers sweep under rugs and dont care about. We all want to see the company succeed. But there's a better way for all, except the stock brokers. They don't belong in an engineering company.
