while it’s true that the chinese equipment is gonna break sooner and more often, it’s also cheaper by a lot, i could literally buy 2 additional small excavators and still be better off than buying 1 american or european made

You buy cheap... its cheap. You can buy good Chinese stuff, its still cheaper. Mybfriend moved to china, there company makes some of the best semiconductors in the world and theyre still cheaper than anywhere else.
