I once wrote to John Scalzi and told him how I was so moved by Will Weaton's reading of the thrird coda of Red Shirts, that I had to pull by car over because my eyes started misting up. Amazingly, he wrote back to me! I would love to see ANY of his books make it to television or the movies.

im currently finishing old man's war trilogy and when I saw this video title on my list I had a huge smile when I clicked and watched mr. Scalzi talking. I recommend the books from this great writer with no hesitation.

I’m still waiting for Netflix to make that movie or series that they implied based off of the OMW universe.. *and of course hope they disappoint me because I truly enjoyed the book.*

To think that a guy I’ve known since I was a child interviewed the author of some of my favorite book series makes this seem like some sort of fever dream.
