What I think of Merrill Lynch/financial advisors

Question from Patreon member: My child’s father passed away and I have to have a trust set up for him. It has to go through a bank and I can not invest the majority of the funds myself. If you had to choose between ticker symbol QCRH and Merrill Lynch, who would you choose and why? QCRH is smaller and family friendly it seems, but who will make better investments for my child in the long run?
