This game was such a great moment for the franchise. It showed that the long revered Chozo also have a dark side, even the most peaceful of them was doing awful experiments. And it brings Samus' story full circle with her turning into a Metroid with her Green armor, pink/red visor, and ability to siphon energy from enemies.

I kinda wish that the endings were based around Item Collection, not time. Not a speedrunner, myself. Still, the game is amazingly fun, and that's what counts. Totally worth the 19 year wait!
Edit: I have come to realize there is in fact a reward for 100% completion. I was under the assumption that there would be a final shot of Samus that would be dependant on how well you completed the game. Evidently, that assumption was incorrect, and it's just that little glance no matter how it ends.

Honestly would love to see mercury steam remake fusion as that was their original pitch. That is if they still want to, imo they have more than earned the right to do so.

The only thing this game (or Metroid games in general) "needs" is a post game. Doesn't have to be super fancy. But maybe a new area with an arena or something that allows a boss rush mode. I think that would be nice.

That Metroid Samus looked so cool, it was really emotional how the White Robe, even as an X Parasite, helped Samus escape at the end.

Just finished this game. What a worthy sequel to my favorite GBA game of all time. The ending was so damn hype.

I kinda hope they release a Zero Suit Samus DLC. Even if it's just like the Justin Bailey code or a small section like in Zero Mission.

Other than that, I loved this game so much. It reignited the love I had for Metroid and that slowly faded away with Nintendo's negligence of the series. Now we patiently wait for Prime 4 and possibly Metroid 6.
