As a European, for the last 2 years, all I do is wonder what my politicians are doing... While we are loosing tens of thousands of brave ukrainians every month, us, Europeans, have not shifted to a warlike mentality (economy) yet. It's a shame, disgrace and its unacceptable.

As a Brit I agree with the Americans on this, we (Europe) act like this conflict couldn’t escalate past capturing Kiev but the European attitude shows we aren’t prepared to be decisive if more nations started backing Russia. The rest of the world aren’t so pacifist and if they formed an axis then WW3 is looking copy & paste from WW1 & WW2. That will eventually become the USA’s problem too, but Europe will see conventional war first

To the people defending
Western europe's commitment to defense spending. 2% Defense spending is a floor not a ceiling. I sympathize with the defense of Ukraine, since 2014 our European allies been passive about defense spending, while buying up Russian gas and oil, leaving Americans stuck filling the gaps. Western Europe needs to be more like Poland. Im tired of funding NATO leeches while my country is crumbling.
