Skywind : Lord Vivec Reveal

Skywind is a total recreation of The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind, built from the ground up in the more modern Skyrim: Special Edition engine.
The Skywind team took part in the C3: Community Creations Con which was held on February 2nd 2024. As usual, I was very excited during the stream and I jotted down a lot of notes and this video will summarize these updates.

I have always played as a pure mage in every Elder Scrolls game and this channel will focus on Elder Scrolls lore along with Magic and Spell related content from Morrowind, Skyrim Mods, Daggerfall, Wayward Realms and Elder Scrolls Online.

He’s not the worst voice for Vivec, I get that his voice is similar to Dr. Manhattan which is fitting for someone with the power a god, but I feel like a slightly deeper voice speaking with a bit more authority would be more fitting for him. Encountering Vivec during my first playthrough of Morrowind earlier last year, reading his dialogue I imagined him to sound more like Paladin Danse from Fallout 4 oddly enough

I think this voice suits him actually. Shows kind of how emotionless and pompous he became after centuries of being a deity.

I love how effeminate his voice is, it *perfectly* matches the way Vivec is both masculine and feminine, I know that's not usually a compliment but it is here. The VA did a great job.

I would prefer if he was more correcly splitted into chimer/dunmer, color wise, it's way too subtle here
also for the voice ehh, it's sounds way too young and innocent, i think it would have been better to AI voice him using his morrowind voice as a base

In morrowind all tribunal god had distored voices, but dagoth ur had a really nice voice
it's funny, but it also make sense since they are false gods

I greatly admire the Skywind project, but I must admit that I do not like Vivec's model here.

i pray this breath soft bellied waife of sound is not the voice they chose for for Lord Vivec. this is not the voice that would speak the sermons. if it is as this or similar to this soft weakness i will learn to mod just to strip it from skywind when it emerges.
