I’m following a photographer on IG who did this exact thing with his drone. Why we can see here that the clarity of the video is not perfect it’s because they have to really zoom in to capture these images. That photographer explained that even from a far distance, parts of the drone would start to melt so they have to be constantly aware of what they’re doing. Amazing images!

My wife and I just arrived in Iceland today. Seeing this was our first stop. Even being a kilometer away, you could see the magma ejections quite well. Such a cool experience, hopefully the Auroras come out to play too!!
