Swamp N Stomp is a channel or vlog, whatever you want to call it, dedicated to helping the hunting community grow, specifically in Florida. Studies show that the majority of modern hunters had family members who raised them as hunters, and a large portion of non-hunters want to hunt but don't know where to start. By documenting our hunting adventures, making instructional or tutorial videos, and really anything-hunting-related videos, we hope to help bridge that gap by providing practical information for beginner and experienced hunters on how to become a better and more ethical hunter. Click that subscribe button and join us for the ride! Thanks for watching!

Furthermore, it is important to stay up to date with rules and regulations that apply to you and the land you hunt on. Be safe, stay diligent, and good luck in the woods!

I feel like is Way too much noise especially in those quiet mornings you will scare all game out of the area especially if you Hunt high pressured public lands!

I feel like every video of saddle hunting demo everyone is always in a perfect tree that a climbing stand could rock n roll on with ease!

Awesome video yet another great way to use the tools we need and already have. Feedback if I may, I recommend tying a simple overhand on a bite anytime you go hands free, i knot the device is meant to catch and not slip under load however it happens and a simple quick overhand is a bit of redundancy that can prevent you from taking a ground fall in the event of a failure of the device.

This works good on those pines behind you loaded with branches as well?

It’s a cool method but it is just too difficult for me when they make a climbing stand.

It'd be awesome to see a full length video on this!

Very good way to climb but I would add a safety rope or a lines man rope at waist level so if you fall you dont catch your fingers under your climbing rope

Eventually you will realize the platform climber method is the way 😉

1) two tether is my preference, 2) JRB climbing method 3) SRS 4) MRS 5) carrying that damn stand, thought about sticks but rather go with rope and non metal as much as possible

That red madrock will not start gripping if you dont hold the loose end. Get the springless one

I'm sorry but why wouldn't you just get a one stick and when you get to the top you use it for your platform in conjunction with a ring of steps. This is essentially what you are doing anyway only with more noise and more equipment.

Completely unrelated, did you guys ever end up with a bird this past Turkey season?

Climbing sticks are so light nowadays.

Man a throw ball and the rope walking technique would set y’all up. I do tree work. Srs is the way. Check it out. Especially if you are going to set your stand before hand.

How do you get the Bimini top in the stand with you?

Imagine doing that in the pitch black dark before the sun comes up on a hunt, it’d be daybreak and you’d be sweaty as crap by the time you get set, ain’t no way I’d ever do that, I’ll just stick to ladder stands I put up in the summer

I would say bringing the sticks or even 1 stick would be more efficient. However, worth knowing
