Should've used heat shrink with solder in it! That endures good solid connection.

That’s a loose connection that will get hot possibly burn your house down. Do not do that connection

Before using heat shrink, better to solder both the wires for long lasting safety.

That also causes induction not a good thing as well as other problems so if. You've never studied electrical problems or passed an exam don't do this
