A massive 120 pound Alligator Snapping Turtle 😳

He’s face got to close for comfort while he was setting the turtle down. Not sure you’d have much of a nose or mouth left if it got hold of your face

Alligator snappers are WAY less spicy than common snappers. Even that considered, I don't think I'd get my mug that close to one's mouth

Absolutely incredible predators they really remind me of dinosaurs. Snappers are my absolute favorite turtle species with their awesome individual personalities. I’ve had the pleasure of working and keeping them for years and there’s nothing like them their basically little tanks and seem to have no fear definitely very curious as well. Every time I’d enter the room or near their enclosures their quick to greet me looking for food or just to see what I was up to. Their just truly incredible and will always be a favorite of mine.
