One of her best albums. The vocals (possibly her best ever), the musicianship, the production (those '80s special FX!), the passion in some of the lyrics, the photography, the artwork. It virtually all worked. She should've been nominated for Best Pop Vocal Performance for the entire album. The 2010 Japanese SHM-CD mini-LP remaster of this album is sonic perfection. I consider this album to be her absolute Sandy #1 vs. Sandy #2 album, with this song being the perfect fusion of the 2 personae.

I know this had to be the first track released from the album, but there were at least two or three better songs on "Soul Kill", including Queen of the Publication and Culture Shock.
