For beginners, like myself, I found this tutorial made the setting up process less confusing.

And I believe this video is meant for beginners, not advanced used.

Thumbs up.

So basically you're saying drag in the clip and let Adobe choose the settings for you. Great teacher

Essentially you just told me to do the one thing i'm trying to avoid doing, good job

You know, now you can right click on your best quality raw footage in the Project section, and choose 'create Sequence from clip settings'.

Cheers!

Man after a rabbit hole of Tutorial Vids you have just solved my Sequence setting problem for just setting up an Animatic at 1920 x 1080 screen. I couldn't understand why my settings never fit the screen size of imported files. I'm only half way your video at 2.53 and got what I needed. Thank you so much!

Though not seems like so much, but you cleared a big bloop of confusion and showed the obvious way to do that starting sequencing ... Thank you ....

I'm a newbie with Premiere. Can you cover how to import/save clips so Premiere can find them when I RE-open the project each time? And can you explain all the different saved versions of one's project and if all those versions are necessary to keep? Seems like it would clog up the drive you're working on? I'm just not understanding. FCP makes this all so much easier!

Awesome video. Random question... Is it possible to swap tracks? For example, moving V1 to the V3 position and the V3 automatically moving to the V2 position. And the V2 automatically moving the V1 position.

You should have talked more about things for advanced users. All you did was make a 5 min video saying "its easy, just click drag and hit OK" that could have been done in 45 seconds. No, offense, but this video was a big waste of time. Most people like me are probably here looking for more info on the hard to under stand stuff.. explain the time base and the "vertical" section and why it can be difficult or glitchy, and most of all you forgot to tell people that if they want good quality AUDIO, they need to go to at least 48, 0000 Hz for the Audio Sample Rate

THANK YOU!! Freaked out when I saw all the options.

This looks like a newer version of Premiere Pro than what I'm using because I didn't see any of the initial options that you're FORCED to choose and apparently can not change once you click on Okay for that new project modal window. I and I'm sure many others would appreciate if you would specify which version that you're using.

Need a little help, so my sequence settings match the video but the video quality still seems to be decreased in premier pro compared to the raw footage. Any suggestions?
