I so agree with You..the 1217 and 6217 are superb. I run a Racal 6217E..from a former ASA Intercept Station in the US. It has the Dual Panoramic Adapter, the VLF Add on, as well as the Antenna Tuning Unit..which really helps. There is about 7db of gain from the Regco multicoupler feeding it, and I use it with the Sherwood SE-3 synch detector and i find it a delight. It and the Racal 6790 GM sit beside each other in the rack and are my most used receivers. Love your radio collection. Keep up the great videos!

hi Peter beautiful collection of Racal receivers, I noticed in your video your plugging a jack plug into a headphone socket of each radio, would be interested to know what sort of amplifier/speaker this is connected to, receivers in my collection RA17 x2 RA1792 and RA3791
