Very nice coverage of brushes. It really helps to get a start from the beginning stages of painting to more intermediate style of painting. Nice job!

Hey Clive, you can use rubbing alcohol to clean your eye glasses too, works great :)

Thank You so much for taking the time to show this. I saw somewhere if you put a paint brush in some warm water with a dryer sheet underneath the brush it will pull out all the paint! I’ve never tried it as I worry about what type of chemicals are upin the dryer sheet. I never use them

A lot of great tips! Thank you. Another brush cleaning tip I use is, using ammonia for paint dried brushes. Ammonia will break down acrylic paint very well. 😃 Thank you so much for all the knowledge and work you share with us.

Clive, I buy my canvases from an art store (Curry's) in Canada. The canvases have two full frames of wood. One where there the canvas is attached and another on the inside. The canvas is taught. They don't say how many coats of gesso or primer have been applied, only that it is primed. How many, if any, coats of gesso should I apply? If I should apply gesso, how long should I wait before painting? Should I apply more than one coat?

Thank you!! This was so informative. Could I use any cheap soap (like dish washing or hand soap) to clean the brushes? I have acetone but doesn't it ruin the brushes a little? Also if it is an expensive canvas do you still need to gesso?

Love painting with you, but I have a question. How do I paint glowing light? I have tried and tried but just can't seem to get it.

does anyone else like liquitex red cad medium better than golden heavy body red cad medium? I bought golden because the yellow golden is so much more pigmented than liquitex, but the red in liquitex seemed more pigmented than the other more expensive. Granted the liq. is more orange red for whatever reason, but it is just more pigmented on the canvas. ANyone?
