I always feel SO bad for Catelynn bc you know she was trying to do the best thing for Carly at the time. Now you can see the regret. I hope she can find peace in knowing Carly is still hers and will always be.

Aside from Nova's sweet and smart speech, which all the comments are already talking about, I would like to note how nice it is that her parents accept her feelings: they don't tell her that she shouldn't be sad, they don't try to suppress her feelings as many do because they are "just children" (terrible thing). Instead they sit down and ask her to express her feelings, and the child is able to communicate them very well. They did a great job. ❤
Unfortunately, not all parents pay attention to their children's feelings, especially if they are kids!

Tyler and Catelynn always AMAZED me from the start with their maturity and ability to communicate together even at 16. I think they both come from tumultuous childhoods that made them have to grow up fast, and they both were forced to become very mature and emotionally intelligent. I love them. You guys are a beautiful family and are wonderful amazing parents 🙏🏻

Nova is so sweet. Her facial expressions always crack me up! I'm so happy they are honest with her about all of it. I had a similar situation and had to explain to my kids and I'm so glad I was honest with them. They have such an bond but I know it was hard because we missed out on a lot of important things in her life.

Nova is wise beyond her years, i jut pray she understands mom and dad never intended to hurt her or separate her from carly, but did what they could to give them all the life they deserve!

I will always say this, im SOOOO proud of them for what they have done. Raising they other daughters, being in Carly life as much as they can and teaching Nova what happen . Nova has the right to feel and act question about Carly and they handle it well . Proud of Cait and Tyler and God Bless they whole family and Carly's parents

I have always felt for Catelynn. You can tell that she would’ve made a different decision regarding Carly’s adoption if she’d only known the financial security the show’s wild success would provide.

They made the right decision for Carly but the adoptive parents went back on the deal and really don't want Carly to have a full relationship with her siblings.
