R C Sproul is absolutely right! God is SOVEREIGN! HIS ways are not our ways, and HIS thoughts are NOT our thoughts! I'm ecstatic in my spiritual inner man that God chose me! What happens when an irresistible force meets an immovable object? Both cannot exist. Either the force can be resisted or the object can be moved. God is sovereign or he is not God. If God is not in control the world is a profoundly terrifying place.

What percentage of people does God save, and why is it so low?

He will save all who call upon him after they have internalised Christ's instruction with engagement of their will.. Sovereign lord wants everybody to call upon him to be saved.

If God is sovereign in the way Sproul and all Calvinist believe, then its impossible to actually sin. Because if God predetermined all things and we cant go against his sovereign will, then we can do nothing but be obedient to his will. Therefore sin does not exist for Sproul. We are all simply being perfectly obedient to the will of God. And for calvinist God will send his perfectly obedient creatures to hell because doing so "brings him glory."
Im thankful the one true God is nothing like that.

God doesn't decide who goes where. Neither does Lucifer. When we enter the spirit world, we ourselves decide because only then do we know if our lives were centered on God and love, or not. The more we sinned, the further away from heaven we go.

I would never serve a God who’s picking and choosing who to save. I am beyond sick and tired of people twisting the Word of God. Jesus died for everyone and wants everyone to be saved. Unfortunately, not everyone believes. God chose those He knew would believe. This ungodly teaching is going to cost a lot of people to lose their souls.

At one point I enjoyed the whole RC Sproul, John MacArthur scene... I thought they were really smart and enjoyed the "deep" theology. Debating the letters of T.U.L.I.P for hours. Now it all sounds like, "blah, blah, blah."

Or, "Himself". He uses His own self in predestining.

What is His counsel?

"Who hath known the mind of the Lord? Or who hath been His counsellor?"

The elect are a mystery only known by God and the elect.

And the only thing we know about the elect is that every Jew is elect (Romans 11:26). Every Gentile, I think not. (So, yes, Judas is in Heaven). I wish God was a universalist but Scripture does not say this. ("Free will" is heresy. Romans chapters 8 and 9).

RC is more about academics than Christianity. He seems to base his teachings on philosophy than Christianity. He preaches knowledge instead of Jesus Christ crucified.

Sproul should have explored his original misgivings a bit further.

Sproul's Calvinism is false theology. Each person decides for themselves whether to accept Jesus as their savior.
